Litter picking around Ripley

Our Operations Manager, Aidan Munnelly, recently rolled up his sleeves to partake in a social value litter-picking initiative as part of the annual Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean campaign. 🌿💪

Starting from White Heart Meadows Car Park, Aidan joined a group of committed volunteers to help clean up Ripley and the surrounding areas, contributing to a cleaner, more welcoming community.

According to YouGov, 31.6 million people feel they’d be more connected to their community if their streets were litter-free—a powerful reminder of how small actions can have a big impact. We’re proud to support civic pride and environmental stewardship in neighbourhoods along the M25, where our projects continually uplift communities. 🏘

A special thank you to Ellie Chapman for coordinating the event, and to our partners on the day: Alex Clifford (WSP), and Sukhvinder Dhanjal MCIPS, Lilian Akinjobi, and Claire Johnson (National Highways).

We look forward to continuing our commitment to community engagement and social value across all the areas we serve.
